Woven Records

11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Center for Creative Connections, Main Space
Contribute to Lesli Robertson’s Community Partner Response Exhibition by weaving cloth from various materials on the loom.


Arturo’s Art Stories

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Tech Lab, Center for Creative Connections
Explore works of art in the Museum’s collections with Arturo through interactive stories on the Museum’s website.


Family Story Time

11:30 a.m. – noon
Arturo’s Nest, Center for Creative Connections
Bring your imagination and join Arturo and education staff members for a fun time of storytelling.


Studio Creations

1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Studio, Center for Creative Connections
Visit the Museum's collection and be on the search for hats using a gallery scavenger hunt. Think about the different materials and designs each artist used then come to the studio and create your own hat.


Postcards!

1:00 - 4:00 p.m.
Tech Lab, Center for Creative Connections
Use green screen technology to create your own vacation themed postcards.


Family Tour

2:00 – 2:30 p.m.
Meet in the Center for Creative Connections
Join Education staff for a special interactive tour of the Museum’s collections designed for the whole family. Explore works through movement, sketching, stories, and more!


Family Film

3:00 p.m.
Theater, Center for Creative Connections
Come watch Harrod Blank’s comic and revealing exploration of Art Cars in his film Wild Wheels. He travels across the country in his own wildly decorated VW bug in search of people who are obsessed with transforming their cars into mobile works of art.
