For a 3–5 year old and a favorite grown-up! Adults and young children will work together to look at works of art, read a related story in the galleries, and do an art-making activity in the studio. Taught by Museum education staff. Class size limited to fifteen pairs. Members FREE/Nonmembers $10 (per pair). All supplies provided. For 2 and 3 year olds and a favorite grown-up. We will look at a work of art in the Museum galleries and then play with our new friends in Arturo’s Nest, the Museum’s kid-friendly space. The Dallas Museum of Art’s homeschool classes offer an interactive Museum experience for families with children ages 6–12. Parents and children learn about works of art together in the galleries, participate in hands-on activities as a family, and create a work of art together in the studio. Puppet-Making Workshop Saturday, August 28, 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Join guest artist Jill Foley and learn how to create puppets from everyday objects.
